Star Citizen®, a crowd funded video game created by Cloud Imperium Games®, release trailers to advertise new spaceships that are available to purchase within its universe.
Each ship manufacturer has its own company identity and all marketing must adhere to these guidlines. The trailers are created after meticulous planning and involve large teams of artists and designers to achieve the final video. My role was to create the end slate motion graphics and this particular trailer was advertising a customisable high-end luxury ship with a 'Frank Sinatra' upbeat swing-feel throughout. With this in mind I created a slightly Art-Deco set of animations that highlight the new colour options for the vehicles whilst remaining on-brand with the ship manufacturer's ethos. The animation of the Origin logo reveal is also my own design.
